UNIC has been visiting schools in Kenya since 1995 and so far has addressed approximately 35,000 students from some 1,200 schools. During the schools visit we encourage students to form UN Clubs. We also introduce them to the idea of a classroom Model United Nations. Forming a Model United Nations, however, requires some training for teachers by UNIC staff.
