UNIC Nairobi visits Uganda

UNIC's Information Officer, visited Uganda schools for an Educational Outreach Programme from 01 - 05 October 2007. She was able to give the Ugandan students a good overview of what UN is all about, what UN can help the schools of Uganda, how the schools can be involved in the activities of UN among other topics, e.g. Model United Nations and what activities its involved in. She was also able to donate some key United Nations publications to various schools for their future reference.
