Nyandarua High School educational tour to the UN Complex

22 May, 2003 --A group of 65 Form Four students and five teachers visited UN Complex Gigiri as part of their educational tour Programme

UNIC's National Information Officer Irene Mwakesi addressed the students on the work of United Nations. This was followed by question and answer session and finally a screening of the video "UN for a better Future".

A special book kit was prepared by the Assistant Reference librarian Elizabeth Ndungu-Mwarage and presented to the school teachers for their school library. The students were also addressed by representatives from UNICEF, UN-Habitat and UNEP.
