2006 - Middle School Model United Nations

The Middle School Model United Nations 2006 -- (MSMUN) conference was held on January 24 2006 and concluded on 27 January 2006, at the United Nations Office at Nairobi.

The conference was attended by six hundred and fifty students represented 21 schools from Nairobi, Kisumu and Uganda.

Middle School Model United Nations (MSMUN) and the East African Model United Nations (EAMUN) Programmes were established to provide students an opportunity to simulate the process that the United Nations member nations go through to write debate and pass resolutions on various world issues.

In addition to representing UN member states in debate, students from participating schools may choose to be members of the MUN Press Corps to produce a daily newspaper or they may opt to be members of the Secretariat to help manage the proceedings in the various conference rooms.
