It will conclude on 22 January. During the conference delegates will deliberate on issues touching on Ecology, Human Rights, Health and Technology. The Conference precedes the East African Model United Nations which will be taking place from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 February this year. This is an annual event.
Middle School Model United Nations (MSMUN) and the East African Model United Nations (EAMUN) Programmes were established to provide students an opportunity to simulate the process that the United Nations member nations go through to write, debate and pass resolutions on various world issues.
In addition to representing UN member states in debate, students from participating schools may choose to be members of the MUN Press Corps to produce a daily newspaper or they may opt to be members of the Secretariat to help manage the proceedings in the various conference rooms.
